Evening Elegance Necklace

We are in love with radiated quartz! It's iridescent finish picks up the colors of almost anything you place it next to, from blue purple, pink to green. When our designer paired it with the black pressed Czech glass beads for this design, it added just enough shimmer to make a simple necklace an elegant, evening wear piece. Step one: Cut a length of ZambaPro 49 .019 jewelry wire to approximately 19 inches. Attach one end to a sterling silver open jump ring using a 2x2mm crimp tube. For detailed instructions on how to use a crimp tube, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Cover the crimp tube with a sterling silver crimp cover. Attach the jump ring to the bar side of the sterling silver square deco toggle clasp. Step two: Starting with the quartz, string approximately 16 inches of alternating 5x10mm radiated quartz faceted coins and Czech glass flat hexagon beads in jet. When you reach the end of the design, crimp the other end of the wire to another sterling silver open jump ring and cover with a crimp cover. Attach the jump ring to the square part of the sterling silver toggle clasp. That is it! It couldn't be simpler, and yet, everyone will take notice.
