Content Specialist

Description:
Reporting to the VP of Content/Search, the Content Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of our digital content: both product imagery and text information. This individual will gain significant knowledge of our product line, and as administrator of our image and information collections, will be responsible for a variety of tasks serving a number of production and marketing efforts. The main tasks are:

Image Management:
Test/correct the integrity of image files (file corruption/image dimensions)

Administer proper naming/filing protocol and monitor disk storage consumption

Administer digital watermarking technology

Collect and administer images for copyright filing and other purposes

Database Management:
Check/report errors (typos/bad characters/inaccuracies) in product data
Optimize keywords and other product data - filter or amend thousands of records of production information to meet established standards for the following purposes: site user experience, SEM, SEO, site search and other purposes.

This individual will work closely with our SEM administrator and assume a vital role in preparing and providing accurate product information to serve as ad copy and keywords in our numerous SEM campaigns. This person will collaborate with a number of departments (Content/Search, Product Marketing, Art Department) and beyond possessing excellent communications skills and being a team player, must demonstrate both a technical, analytical mind as well as a creative, discerning one. This individual must be a fast learner and take the initiative in discovering new and better ways to accomplish tasks.

Requirements:
*Strong attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to multi-task and solve problems on their own.
*Excellent communication skills
*Bachelor's degree
*1-2 years of solid work experience in a role that required extensive use of Excel or an equivalent spreadsheet or database program
*Solid to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel





Human Resources Manager

Description:
Administers employee benefit plans, assists employees with benefit questions and problems and acts as liaison between brokers, carriers and employees.

Acts as the organization’s resource for all matters of employment, recruitment and retention. Responsible for designing and implementing recruiting and hiring processes. Coordinates the hiring process to include advertising, screening candidates, closing employment offers and conducting new employee orientation. Designs, develops and implements recruiting strategies. Maintains applicant flow data and supports the integration of data for analysis and use in EEO/AA reporting. Works with managers to forecast future skill needs and staffing requirements; advises Senior Management on staffing planning.

Handles all employee relations issues within the company. Provides credible, confidential counsel to all levels of management. Implements and executes employee relations programs/practices that create a positive organizational culture and enable management effectiveness. Cultivates leadership and ethical values in self and others through modeling and coaching.

Develops systems and provides leadership to managers, supervisors and employees in programs that support good performance, including annual appraisals, discipline and discharge, coaching, and all related programs.

Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations for continuous improvement. Supports activities to build and sustain a desired workplace culture.

Develops and maintains open communication between departments.

Assures fair employment practices and compliance with State and Federal regulations. Stays abreast of personnel laws and regulations that relate to fair employment.

Administers leave of absence paperwork.

Promotes equitable application of personnel policies throughout the company. Advises, counsels, and assists in resolving job related concerns. Assists in the development and/or revision of personnel policies.

Provides excellent customer service to employees and departments.

Assesses training needs throughout the organization.

Develops position descriptions.

Requirements:
*Bachelors Degree (B.A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
*Minimum of three (3) years of exempt-level human resources experience or equivalent managerial experience required.
*Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the administration of benefit programs such as life, health, dental, and disability insurance plans, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence and employee assistance.
*Must have personal computer experience in Microsoft Office applications.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills.
*PHR/SPHR certification is preferred but not required.
*Must have excellent interpersonal skills, professional judgment, high integrity, discretion, customer service and problem solving skills.
*Knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding human resources.

Description:
This is an entry level position, responsible for filling customer orders with product in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements:
* Must be detail oriented
* Good manual dexterity
* Must be reliable team player
