This 3x3-inch 36 gauge light distressed patina copper sheet from Lillypilly is a wonderful way to incorporate texture and dimension to a design. This sheet is made from a process similar to the natural aging process of copper and bronze, when chemicals produce new colors on the surface to protect the material from corrosion. Each sheet will vary in its appearance and is coated with a protective wax. A second layer of paste wax should be applied to protect the coloring. While you can cut these sheets with sturdy scissors, make sure these scissors are used for the sole purpose of cutting the sheets because they will lose their ability to cut paper.
