Get lost in a sea of powerful color and texture with this 3x3-inch 24 gauge copper sheet with azul patina. From Lillypilly, this square copper sheet displays one side with a smooth, blank surface and another decorated with a fun pattern of turquoise blue splash. The azul patina pattern is created by manipulating the natural aging process of copper, exposing it to chemicals and fire to present the rich blue hue. The patina effect occurs when chemicals produce new colors on the surface to protect the material from corrosion. Each sheet will vary in its appearance but all will show this beautiful blue and copper color combination, and is coated with a protective wax. A second layer of paste wax should be applied to protect the coloring.
