The way this gorgeous Swarovski crystal and cuplink chain necklace is strung gives the illusion that it hangs suspended in space because the jet crystals of the shorter strand are the first thing you see, and the flower is suspended by the longer transparent crystals; a brilliant jewelry design. The clasp is beautiful and ornate with a bar that has a swirl vine and leaf to complement the floral design. This necklace is great for a black and white ball or fancy family holiday gathering.
Step one: Cut approximately twenty inches of the crystal cuplink chain, which should include thirty-seven crystals. With a jump ring, attach the filigree flower button to the center ring between the 18th and 19th crystals on the chain.
Step two: With the odd number of crystals, you'll have one side of the chain slightly longer than the other. Decide how your toggle clasp is going to go behind your neck, and attach the longer side (19 rather than 18 crystals) to the bar of the clasp. This centers the clasp behind your neck when the necklace is finished. But don't close those jump rings yet!
Step three: Cut approximately seventeen inches, including thirty jet crystals, of the jet cuplink chain. Insert the link ends of it into the jump rings attached to the clasp, and close the jump rings.
