This fun and simple project is perfect for Easter, but can easily be changed to accommodate any occasion. Use this idea to use up those extra beads and charms in your bead box, or coordinate the charms in a theme like the one below.
Step one: Cut a piece of memory wire ring slightly larger than a full loop.
Step two: Make a small loop in one end of the wire with your round nose pliers. For instructions on how to make a simple loop in wire please visit the Handy Tips page of the Learning Center.
Step three: String Swarovski 4mm bicones and 3mm silver rounds in a pattern of your choosing. Put the charm in the middle of your pattern. You do not need to cover the whole wire, keep it simple, two or three crystals on each side of the charm is fine.
Step four: Finish the charm with another simple loop. Continue until you have enough for a set. Alternative components: Use 5mm Swarovski bicone crystals instead of 4mm and 4mm sterling silver seamless round beads in place of the 3mm for a bolder look. Vary your charms and crystal colors to reflect the occasion.
