Cherish Bracelet Instructions Designed by Teri McCamish
This graceful bracelet adds a sparkling touch of blue to a traditional pearl design. The shining gold accents bring this look together for a bracelet you can cherish on your wedding day and every day after.
Step one: Slide a Swarovski 8mm briolette bead in Light Turquoise onto a gold-filled 1.5-inch head pin with ball end, 24 gauge. Create a wrapped loop. For help with this, see our Handy Tip. Repeat this step 14 times and set your wrapped loops aside.
Step two: Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 10 inches long. Attach one part of the gold-filled round filigree pearl clasp to one end and crimp shut with a 14K/20 gold-filled 2x2mm crimp tube and a 3mm gold-filled crimp cover. See our Handy Tips for more information on how to use crimp tubes and crimp covers.
Step three: String on one Miyuki 8g metallic 24 Karat gold plated Delicas, one Swarovski 8mm round pearl in Cream, another gold Delica and then a Swarovski 12mm round pearl in Cream.
Step four: String on five of the wrapped loops you made in step one.
Step five: String on another 12mm pearl and slide it close to the wrapped loops, so that their stringing holes bunch up together and the briolettes form a floral shape between the two 12mm pearls.
Step six: String on another gold Delica and an 8mm pearl. Repeat two more times, then string on a gold Delica followed by a 12mm pearl. Repeat steps four and five. You can use bead stoppers to keep your design in place and especially to keep the briolettes in a floral formation.
Step seven: Repeat step six, then string on a gold Delica and an 8mm pearl. Attach the other half of the pearl clasp to the end of your bracelet and crimp shut with a crimp tube and crimp cover.
