Divine Glen Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
This necklace is both earthy and glamorous, incorporating brown rubber cord with brilliant SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS crystals. Two delicate strands divide from the cord and drape across the neck at different lengths for an elegant effect.
Step one: Cut a 6 1/2-inch piece of 4mm mocha rubber cord. Place a dab of E6000 glue on one end and crimp the hook-end of a 4mm hook and eye crimp clasp onto the cord. Crimp a silver-plated pewter large fancy crimp end to the other end. For help using crimp ends refer to the handy tips section of the learning center. Cut a second piece of cord and crimp the eye-end of the clasp to one end of the cord and a fancy crimp end to the other end.
Step two: Cut a 7-inch piece of ZambaPro&trade: jewelry wire and attach one end to a 4.60mm sterling silver open jump ring with a crimp tube, for help check out the how to use a crimp tube handy tip. Thread a 3mm Swarovski faceted round in Crystal Copper and a 5mm Swarovski faceted round in Olivine. Repeat four times. Add a 3mm Crystal Copper, an 8mm Swarovski lucerna bead in Crystal AB, a 3mm Crystal Copper, an 8mm Swarovski lucerna bead in Olivine, a 3mm Crystal Copper, a 5mm Olivine, a 3mm Crystal Copper and a 12mm Swarovski clover bead in Crystal. This is the center point of the strand. Complete the strand by mirroring the pattern of the beads and attach the end to a jump ring using a crimp tube.
Step three: Connect the leather cords from step one together using the beaded wire from step two.
Step four: Attach an antique brass leafy pinch bail to the 27mm Swarovski divine rock pendant in Crystal Red Magma. Cut an 8-inch piece of antique brass-plated 5+1 rollo and oval link chain and slide the divine rock pendant onto the chain. Connect the chain between the leather cords using a 5.5mm gunmetal-plated open jump ring on each end.
