Delicate Cross Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
This necklace is one of the most delicate we have ever offered. Take a moment and make this for yourself or as a thoughtful gift that is sure to be treasured for years to come.
Step one: Cut two lengths of chain to 3 3/4 inches, two lengths to 1 1/4 inches, two to 1 1/2 inches and one 4-inch length. Attach the two longest lengths of chain to the clasp using gold-filled jump rings.
Step two: String a 4mm white Swarovski pearl onto a gold-filled eye pin and attach the eye pin to the end of one of the chains using a wrapped loop. For instructions on how to make Wrapped Loops, please see the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Repeat on the other side. As you move forward, each step will be duplicated on both sides. On the other end of the eye pin, attach a Swarovski 4mm amethyst two ring channel. Add another eye pin to the other end and slide a 4mm white pearl onto the head pin. With a wrapped loop, attach the other end to the 1 1/4 inch piece of chain.
Step three: Next add the pearl and channel link using a sapphire link, follow with the 1 1/2 inch length of chain, add another link set with the rose channel link, and the final, 4-inch length of chain. This final piece will link the two rose and pearl links together.
Step four: String the final pearl on the last eye pin and attach it to the center of the chain with a wrapped loop. On the bottom of that loop, Attach a Swarovski baguette cross.
