Scrapbooking Cupcake Birthday Card Project

There is nothing better than receiving a card that has been made especially for you. For this mommy and me project, using our fun birthday mini shapes stickers and birthday quotables makes it easy for your children to express their thoughts and wishes. Step one: We purchased card stock at a local craft store, but you can make your own card out of the paper of your choice. Using birthday mini shapes stickers apply in a pleasing pattern with terrifically tacky tape. To apply flatbacks, use a jewel setter to pick up the rhinestones, dab them lightly in gem tac glue and press firmly onto the paper. Step two: Embellish a message from birthday card quotables sticker pad with mardi gras fibers and attach to the card with a rough and tumble hardware brad. Using 1/8 inch terrifically tacky tape attach Toho bugle beads in a fun pattern across bottom of card. Step three: Attach an oval jump ring to the crystal ice cream cone charm and attach to the card. Using mardi gras embellishment fibers, cut enough length to wrap around seam of card two to three times and then finish with a knot at the top.
