Creamsicle Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Sometimes the only thing needed to make an existing design a new favorite is to recreate it using a different color palette. Such is the case with this fun necklace. We used the same pattern as our Flowers on the Vine necklace but used bright oranges for a fun, summery look. For a bright turquoise necklace, see the alternative component options we have listed below.
Step One: Cut an approximately 20-inch piece of ZambaPro 49 .019 jewelry wire. Crimp one end of the wire to a 5.35mm sterling silver open jump ring using a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube. Cover with a 3mm sterling silver crimp cover. For help with crimp tubes and crimp covers visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
Step Two: On approximately 7.5 inches of the wire, string a random pattern of 4mm cats eye faceted rounds in copper, 6mm cats eye faceted rounds in copper, 3mm Swarovski round pearls in cream and 6mm Swarovski helix crystals, using mostly cats eye beads. String 10 pearls. Continue your random pattern of beads until you complete the strand. Crimp the other end of the wire to a 5.35mm jump ring with a crimp tube and cover with a crimp cover.
Step Three: Use a 7.35mm sterling silver open jump ring to attach the light orange capiz round shell pendant to the necklace in the center of the pearl section. For help with jump rings visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
Step Four: Attach the flower and stem hook and eye clasp to the respective jump rings at the ends of the necklace.
