This bracelet, found at a local craft store, was in dire need of some sprucing up. The simple addition of crystals and a personalized tag transformed it from plain to charming in a matter of minutes. Help your child create this fun bracelet or any of the other Mommy & Me designs when you're looking for an entertaining way to spend an afternoon.
Step One: Use a stamp and StazOn ink pad in jet black to create the image on the antique silver-plated pewter large circle tag link. We chose to use a horse stamp but you can personalize your bracelet by choosing any stamp you like. Make sure to press gently and don't move the stamp in order to create a clean image. Let dry. Cut a word from the graphic florals transfer sheet, and follow the instructions to place the word on the link. For help with transfer sheets, visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Cover the entire link in a thin coat of sealant. Let dry.
Step Two: Use Gem-Tac permanent adhesive to glue the crystals and the large circle tag onto the bracelet in a design of your choosing. We created a flower motif with the 8mm Swarovski chessboard flatback in Crystal AB and 10mm Swarovski diamond leaf flatbacks in Light Siam. The other crystals are 12mm Swarovski chessboard flatbacks in Aquamarine. Let dry.
