Cora Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
The double flat spiral stitch creates a breathtaking display in Cynthia's bracelet. This stitch is simple to accomplish and the results are simply stunning! Switch up the colors and sizes of the beads used for a whole new look. We like to use beads from the Artbeads Designer Series to create a perfectly-coordinated color palette.
Step two: Use pearls from the Swarovski 6mm Crystal Pearl Wedding Bells Designer Blend for the beads in the center of the stitch. Use four seed beads from the Ring Around the Rosy 11/0 Designer Seed Bead Blend, one bicone from the Swarovski 3mm Bicone Sand Dune Designer Blend and four more Ring Around the Rosy seed beads to frame the center beads on either side. Continue until your bracelet is the desired length and then create the second row of the stitch. Using bicones in the center of the seed beads will help you remember where to connect both rows of the stitch.
Step three: Weave your needle into the body of the bracelet several times and make sure it is exiting out of a pearl on the end of your bracelet. Add 10 seed beads to the thread, followed by half of the TierraCast antique copper Heirloom 2-loop clasp set and 10 more seed beads. Bring your thread back down through the pearl, then weave through the bracelet and back through the loop several times to strengthen it. Add a loop to the other row of the stitch on this side of the bracelet in the same manner, going through the other hole of the same clasp finding. Repeat this step for the other end of the bracelet. Adjust the amount of seed beads in the loops to make the bracelet as long as you need it. Weave your thread through the bracelet to secure the thread in place and trim.
