Colorful Clip-On Earrings Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Many people don't have their ears pierced, but still want to keep up with fashion trends. These earrings are a great example of what can be done with clip-on earrings.
Step one: Cut two pieces of seven links each (or about one inch) of cable chain. On the bottom of each chain, attach an antique silver ginkgo leaf charm using a sterling silver oval jump ring.
Step two: String one crystal on each headpin. Attach two tourmaline crystals to the bottom link of each chain using the wrapped loop technique. For detailed instructions on how to make a wrapped loop, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Follow with a fuchsia crystal on the second link and two sapphire crystals on the third.
Step three: Using your chain nose pliers, gently open the ring on the clip on earring and slip the top link of the chain onto the loop then close. You have a beautiful set of earrings!
