Dress up your Christmas tree this year with your own handmade garlands! We've created two different garland designs to reflect your style whether you prefer classic Victorian charm or joyous splashes of color. These festive decorations are simple to create and will be cherished for many holiday seasons to come.
Instructions for the first garland: Step one: Use gem-tac adhesive to glue a Swarovski xilion rose flatback in Crystal onto the center-point of a 24mm antique brass decorative flower link. Repeat three times and allow time to dry. Next, glue a flatback to the reverse side of each link and allow time to dry. Attach a 5mm antique brass-plated open jump ring to each ring on the links and set them aside.
Step two: Attach a jump ring to each loop on an antique brass 6 crystal flowers filigree link. Repeat twice and set aside.
Step three: Thread a 10mm Swarovski faceted round bead in Crystal followed by an antique brass filigree bead onto a 2-inch antique brass-plated 20 gauge head pin and finish with a wrapped loop. Repeat once and set aside.
Step four: Cut an 8-inch piece of ZambaPro™ 49 .024 jewelry wire and secure one end to a dangle from step two using a 2mm antique brass-plated crimp bead. For help using crimp tools check out the handy tips section of the learning center. Thread eighteen 4mm Czech glass fire-polished beads in crystal luster, one 10mm Swarovski faceted round bead in Crystal and eighteen more fire-polished beads and attach the end to a jump ring on a link from step one using a crimp bead. Cut a second piece of wire and attach it to the jump ring on the other end of the link. Repeat the beaded pattern before attaching the end to a link from step two. Continue alternating the links between beaded sections until the garland reaches your desired length; our garland has eight beaded sections connecting seven links. Complete the design by attaching the second dangle from step three to the end.
Instructions for the second garland: Step one: Cut a 72-inch piece of ZambaPro™ 49 .024 jewelry wire. Thread a Czech glass pink/crystal mix button onto one end and secure using a sterling 2 x 2mm crimp tube. For help using crimp tools check out the handy tips section of the learning center.
Step two: Thread the beads in any order you like using 4mm Czech glass fire-polished beads in lime green to space out the larger beads. Since the slider beads contain large beading holes be sure to frame them by 6mm or 8mm Czech glass beads to hold them in place and prevent them from sliding over the smaller beads. Complete the design by threading a Czech glass pink/crystal mix button and securing it with a crimp tube.
