Christy's Gift Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Carrie presented her bridesmaids with a choice of two sets of bridesmaid's jewelry each! Each one was unique and made to complement their personality. After much deliberation, they each chose the styles they liked best, thinking those were the items they got to keep. They were right, but Carrie also surprised them with a thank you gift of the second set of jewelry on her wedding day! Be sure to check out Christy's matching bracelet and earrings.
Step one: Cut approximately 6 inches of ZambaPro™ .012 jewelry wire. Slide a crimp tube onto one end and place that end in a bead stopper. String a couple of 1.5mm white freshwater pearls and string on the Lillypilly mother of pearl pendant. String approximately 30 seed pearls in a loop and run the wire back through the crimp tube. Continue until you have three loops and crimp the crimp tube. For help with Crimping please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Set the pendant aside.
Step two: Cut approximately 32 inches of ZambaPro™ .019 jewelry wire and crimp one end to one of the loops on your s clasp. String an opaque espresso bean Delica bead, a sterling silver wavy link, another Delica, 6mm cream Swarovski pearl, 8mm light Colorado topaz faceted round, another pearl, Delica bead, wavy link, Delica, sterling silver S-cut bead, 14mm Swarovski aqua twist, and an S-cut bead. Repeat the pattern two more times. Add a Delica, pearl, light Colorado topaz, pearl, Delica, sterling wavy link and then a 6mm Swarovski aqua faceted round and two sterling silver curved tube links with beads. This is the center of the design and is where the pendant will sit. Slide the pendant onto these links and reverse the pattern as you work toward the other end of your necklace.
Step three: Crimp the remaining wire to the other loop of your S-clasp. Trim the excess wire.
