Everyone loves wine charms. They make great gifts, and during these busy holiday parties, make it easy to identify which drink is yours on those crowded tables. Even if you don't drink, you can put these charms on coffee cup handles, hot cocoa, you name it!
Step one: Using your memory wire shears, cut four rings of silver ring memory wire about½-inch longer than a full loop.
Step two: On the first ring, make a single loop at one end. For detailed instructions on how to make a single loop, please visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Start with a 6mm Swarovski faceted bicone in sapphire, follow with a 2.5mm sterling silver round bead. Alternate until you have four bicones on the ring. Add a blue enamel snowflake charm on a sterling silver open oval jump ring, then reverse the pattern to the other end. Finish with another single loop.
Step three: For the second ring, begin with a single loop then add a 6mm Swarovski faceted round in emerald. Follow that bead with a 2.5mm sterling silver round, then a 6mm faceted round in light Siam. Repeat that pattern so that you have two of each round bead, add an enamel candy cane charm on an oval jump ring. Continue the pattern ending with a light Siam round. Finish the ring with a single loop.
Step four: The third ring begins with a single loop as well, then you simply string a 6mm Swarovski faceted round bead in emerald, followed by a 3mm sterling silver round bead and a 6mm light Siam Swarovski faceted round. Add an enamel Christmas tree charm on a sterling silver open jump ring, then reverse the pattern and finish with a single loop.
Step five: The final wine charm is begun the same way, and the pattern begins with a 3mm sterling silver round bead, followed by a 6mm Swarovski faceted round in sapphire, another 3mm round, and a 6mm faceted round Swarovski in light Siam. Add three enameled Christmas light charms attached to oval jump rings. Follow that with a 6mm Swarovski faceted round in emerald, 3mm silver round, 6mm Swarovski round in sapphire, 3mm silver round and finish with a single loop. This is a quick and easy project that is sure to please your guests and friends!
