We used a mix of gemstones, shells, pearls, Swarovski crystals, sterling silver beads and charms and some Czech glass in beautiful blues and browns for this fabulous cuff bracelet. We also included a dragonfly charm, which is Carrie's favorite, and a photograph of Carrie's mother, who passed a few years ago. She was able to be at the wedding in spirit and glowing memory.
The sterling silver bangle bracelets have sixteen closed rings or loops on them. We used sixteen 2-inch sterling silver 22 gauge eye pins and stacked each one with a mix of our beads, finished with a simple loop and then connected the two bangles together with these beaded eye pins.
Step one: Spread some Gem-Tac permanent adhesive on a piece of beach glass. Place a photo so that the image is face down on the glass facing through. Apply more adhesive to seal the picture including the edges. Set aside to dry. Use a piece of 24 gauge silver non-tarnish artistic wire to wrap around the beach glass. Step two: Attach the 4.3mm sterling silver jump ring to the sterling silver dragonfly pendant. Set aside to attach later to the bracelet
Step three: On the sterling silver 1¼ -inch ball head pin add the Czech glass large alexandrite bellflower. This will later attach to the bracelet with a wrapped loop.
Step four: On a 2-inch sterling silver 22 gauge eye pin string a mix of beads. Finish with a simple loop. For help making Simple Loops please visit the Handy Tips section in the Learning Center. Repeat fifteen more times, mixing up the shapes, colors and materials on each eye pin.
Step five: Connect the sixteen beaded eye pins to the loops on one of the sterling silver beading bangles. Attach the sixteen beaded eye pins to the loops on the other bangle working your way around the bracelet.
Step six: Add the beach glass photo pendant, the dragonfly charm and the alexandrite bellflower to the bracelet.
