Camouflage Rhinestone Journal Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
This adorable journal was made by our designer to be sent back and forth between a soldier and their family. If you have someone overseas, or even stateside, this is a wonderful and meaningful way to communicate with them. Just write your thoughts, have your children draw pictures, anything you like and send it to them. When they receive it and enjoy it, they can add their adventures to the book and send it back to you!
Step one: Using a pencil, outline the charm in the center of a journal cover. Remove the charm.
Step two: Using your Jewel Setter, arrange your Swarovski flatback rhinestones on the cover of the journal in a random pattern that imitates camouflage. You can either dip each stone in a dab of glue, or apply the glue to the book prior to the stones, whichever technique you find the most simple.
Step three: When you have covered all but the center circle, wind a ribbon in a criss-cross pattern to make the yellow ribbon symbol. Apply a large dab of glue to the back of your sterling silver charm and press firmly over the center of the ribbon into the circle on the journal cover.
