Blushing Beauty Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Beautiful blush tones create a sweet display in this double flat spiral stitch bracelet. Cynthia used Artbeads Designer Blends to bead around the Iridescent Red Swarovski crystal pearls at the center of this look. The soft pink tones of the Designer Blends make for a delicate backdrop for the intense hue of the pearls. You can see more ideas for using Artbeads Designer Blends in your jewelry designs in this Artbeads Cafe episode.
Step two: Use Swarovski 5mm round pearls in Crystal Iridescent Red for the beads in the center of the stitch. Use four seed beads from the Artbeads Clearly Rose Designer Blend, one bicone or pearl from the Swarovski 3mm Crystal Mix Rose Gold Designer Blend, and four more seed beads to frame the center beads on either side. Continue until your bracelet is the desired length, making sure to alternate using a 3mm crystal or pearl between the seed beads.
Step three: Create the second row of the stitch to match the first row. Using the bicones and pearls in the center of the seed beads will help you remember where to connect both rows of the stitch.
Step four: Weave your needle into the body of the bracelet several times and make sure it is exiting out of a pearl on the end of your bracelet. Add five seed beads to the thread, followed by half of the TierraCast antique copper heirloom 2-loop clasp set and five more seed beads. Adjust the amount of seed beads in the loop to make your bracelet as long as you need it. Bring your thread back down through the pearl, then weave through the bracelet and back through the loop several times to strengthen it. Add a loop to the other row of the stitch on this side of the bracelet in the same manner, going through the other hole of the same clasp finding. Weave your thread through the bracelet to secure the thread in place and trim. Repeat this step for the other end of the bracelet.
