Blossom Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
This intricate piece is bold and delicate at the same time. It really demonstrates the young greens of spring, peppered with pink to show the promise of summer.
Step one: Cut three lengths of ZambaPro™ 49 .019 jewelry wire to approximately 21 inches. Crimp one of the wires to one of the loops on the clasp using a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube. Cover with a crimp cover. For help using crimp tubes please Click Here. For instructions on how to use crimp covers, please Click Here.
Step two: Mix all of your seed beads in a bowl. Our designer likes the "dip and push" method of stringing where you make a little mountain of beads and put your wire into the center then push with your finger against the wire and the beads just jump onto the wire. String your beads in one to three inch sections separated by 6mm cat's eye yellow oval beads. We put between four and six cat's eye on each side of one strand.
Step three: When you have strung 8 and three quarters inches of beads, thread the wire through the 30x40mm porcelain textured rectangle green plum blossom bead and repeat the pattern on the other side. Crimp the wire to the same loop on the other side of the clasp.
Step four: Repeat this method with the remaining two wires. Crimping each to another loop and covering the crimp tubes with crimp covers.
