This necklace features beautiful subtle tones of polished jasper and is centered with a silver bead, patterned to catch the eye. The design is suited to those occasions when you really don't know how dressy you want to be. If you let your blind date close, they will see how the jasper is set off perfectly with little rainbow plum Toho beads. If you choose to keep your distance, both you and the necklace will shimmer in mystery.
Step one: Cut one length of Beadalon® jewelry wire to approximately 23 inches. Crimp the end to one part of the Hill Tribe sterling silver hammered flat round toggle, using a sterling 2x2mm crimp tube. For detailed instructions on how to use a crimp tube, please see the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
Step two: Begin by sliding one Toho bead onto the jewelry wire. Follow with one fancy jasper melon. Continue to alternate until you have 18 jasper beads and 19 plum beads stranded. Last bead should be a plum toho. Slide on the centerpiece, the Hill Tribe silver patterned round puffed hollow bead.
Step three: Reverse the pattern, working your way back from the necklace centerpiece to the clasp. Crimp the remaining end of your wire to the other side of the toggle clasp.
