There are endless possibilities for beading watch bands. This is an easy to follow idea from our Artbeads.com designer. Choose your favorite colors to make it your own.
Step one: Cut a length of 19 strand jewelry wire by Griffin to 8 inches. Crimp one end to the heavy two-strand toggle clasp. For detailed instructions on how to use crimp tubes, see the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center.
Step two: String one Hill Tribe faceted cube bead, followed by an 8mm topaz faceted round Swarovski crystal, 8mm amethyst faceted round Swarovski crystal, then a 2-hole faceted spacer.
Step three: Repeat the pattern using the two crystals and the double spacer three more times. On the last repetition, finish at the watch face instead of with a spacer.
Step four: Wind the jewelry wire through one hole of the watch face, behind the metal and back out the hole on the same side of the face (making a U shape in the hole provided, not going across the back of the watch).
Step five: Reverse the pattern and work back to the clasp you started with. After completing one side, repeat all steps to complete the other.
Watches make great and unique gifts for those who have all kinds of other jewelry.
