This amazing necklace is perfect for a bold bride or an evening out. Our designer will throw it on over a turtleneck sweater and wear it to the office! No matter what the occasion, it is sure to grab the attention of those around you.
Step one: Cut a length of ZambaPro™ 49 .019 jewelry wire to approximately 6 inches. You will use this to make the bail for the pendant. You will cut most of it away, so if you are confident in your wire work, you can work with a four inch piece. The longer length makes it easier to work with. Put one end of the wire into a Bead Stopper and then alternate sterling silver spacer discs with 3mm faceted spacer beads until you have three discs and two beads. Add the Swarovski Avant Garde pendant. On the other side of the pendant continue alternating the spacers until you have eight more spacers and seven beads. Add a crimp tube. Take the start of the wire out of the Bead Stopper and string it through the crimp tube going the opposite way of the other end of the wire so that they cross in the tube. Pull the ends of the wire tight and crimp. It can be tricky to get your tools into the tight space behind the pendant and still hold your wires tight, so it is okay to flatten the crimp with chain nose pliers instead of crimping it. It will lie behind the pendant and won't be seen when it is worn. Set the finished pendant aside.
Step two: Cut a length of Soft Touch to approximately 23 inches. Using a 2x2mm crimp tube, crimp one end of the wire to your sterling silver toggle clasp. Add a sterling silver spacer disc followed by two white nugget pearls, another spacer, three pearls, a spacer, a 12mm Swarovski cosmic crystal silver shade and a spacer disc. Repeat the three pearls and cosmic bead series two more times. After the third cosmic bead is strung, add a spacer disc, one nugget pearl, another spacer disc, a 4mm Swarovski faceted bicone in vitrail medium and a spacer disc. This pattern repeats until you have four nugget pearls. Add another spacer and then six 4mm faceted bicones. At this point you are at the middle of the necklace and will slide the pendant over the beads. Add a spacer disc and reverse the pattern as you work toward the other end of the necklace.
Step three: When you have completed the pattern, crimp the other end of the wire to the toggle clasp and trim any excess wire.
