Autumn Chain Ear Threads

Do you ever find yourself with bits of chain that don�t get used tangling around everything else in your bead box? Well here is a great way to use up those bits of chain in a stylish autumn earring. Step one: Using your favorite colors from the fire polish 6mm mix of red tones, attach two of the beads to two varying lengths of chain by stringing the beads onto 1 � inch sterling silver 22 gauge head pins and wrapping them to the chain using wrapped loops. Step two: With a sterling silver open jump ring attack the silver antique oak leaf charm to a third chain. Step three: Attach all three chains to a 3 strand sterling silver end piece with open jump rings. Step four: Attach your design to the ear thread by opening the open jump ring at the base and re-closing with your round nosed pliers. For a variation on this theme you can use five strands of chain and a 5 ring V-shaped station as a link to the earwire. Don�t be afraid to experiment. The joy of these earrings is in the asymmetry.
