Arctic Blast Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
Much like the first feathery snowfall of winter, this beautiful necklace is utterly captivating, but the allure of the lightweight pearls and Murano glass will last far beyond the winter months.
Step One: Attach a 3.05mm sterling silver open jump ring to the bottom of the rhodium 1.25 inch bead bar. Using the 5.35mm sterling silver open jump ring, attach the silver-plated pewter snowflake link to the smaller jump ring. For help with jump rings visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. String a 20mm Murano glass opaque aqua and white Chevron blown glass round onto the bead bar.
Step Two: String the bead bar to the center of an approximately 20-inch piece of ZambaPro™ 49 .019 jewelry wire. On both sides of the bead bar string a 6mm antique silver rococo round heishi spacer bead, three 8mm bonnie blue mix glass pearls, one spacer, one 8mm pearl, one spacer, three 8mm pearls, and one spacer. String the rest of the wire with 22 bonnie blue mix glass pearls.
Step Three: Use a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube to crimp each end of the necklace to a 3.05mm jump ring. Cover the crimp tubes with sterling silver crimp covers. Trim any excess wire. For help with crimp tubes and covers visit the Handy Tips Section of the Learning Center. Attach the silver-plated pewter textured oval toggle clasp to the jump rings on each end of the necklace.
