Decide on what design you would like to create with the flatbacks, whether it be a fun shape or a message, before getting started and then follow these easy steps.

Sketch the chosen design onto your fabric using a pencil or a disappearing fabric pen. Add a small amount of Jewel Bond adhesive to a scrap piece of paper for easy application.
Pick up one flatback using the waxed end of a jewel setter tool. Dip the flatback lightly into the adhesive and position onto fabric. You may need to use your fingernail to loosen the flatback from the jewel setter tool.
For a more precise application, try using a pair of knotting tweezers to pick up the flatbacks. Apply adhesive with a paperclip.
STEP FOUR
Finish applying flatbacks and allow to dry. Glue will dry clear.
