Anemone Necklace Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
The focal pendant's floral motif was transformed into an underwater scene thanks to the green colors and swirling patterns in this necklace design. We created this necklace as part of our annual Mommy & Me series during a session that was inspired by a desire to see how many creative ways we could use our transfer sheets.
Step One: Cut out a section from the graphic florals transfer sheet to fit the round antique gold-plated pewter large circle tag. Follow the instructions on the packaging to transfer the image onto the pendant. Coat the pendant with a thin layer of sealant to keep the image in place. Let Dry.
Step Two: Cut approximately five inches of ZambaPro 49 .019 jewelry wire. String the wire through the pendant tag and the Marsha Neal chartreuse cluster spiral pendant. Slide a 2x2mm sterling silver crimp tube onto the wire and hold it in place with a bead stopper. On approximately one inch of the wire, string a combination of 3mm round brown pearls and 4mm fire-polished beads in green metallic, then thread the wire through the pendants again. Repeat twice to create three loops. Finish by crimping the wire ends together behind the pendants using the crimp tube. For help with crimp tubes visit the Handy Tips section of the Learning Center. Trim any excess wire.
Step Three: String the hand dyed silk in burnt orange through the beaded spirals. Tie at the length appropriate for you.
