Ancient Grove Bracelet Instructions Designed by Cynthia Kimura
This stunning bracelet balances modern art deco shapes with natural earth-toned colors for a versatile design that will complement all wardrobes. The complexity of the chain makes this bracelet appear much more complicated than it actually is to make. Your friends will think you spent hours on this design!
Step one: First, create the dangles. Attach a small silver-plated brass art deco leaf pinch bail to a 23mm Swarovski wing pendant in Crystal Red Magma. Attach an antique silver-plated brass leafy pinch bail to a 19mm Swarovski galactic vertical pendant in Amber Opal Mosaic. Attach an antique sterling silver three leaf pinch bail to a 19mm Swarovski divine rock pendant in Crystal Red Magma. Attach a silver-plated pewter three leaf pinch bail to a 20mm Swarovski ginko pendant in Olivine. Attach an antique sterling silver four petal flower pinch bail to a 25mm Swarovski zinnia pendant in Crystal Golden Shadow. Set these dangles aside.
Step two: Thread an 8mm Swarovski faceted round bead in Lime, followed by a sterling silver 8mm cross-hatch with dots beadcap onto a sterling silver 24 gauge 1 1/2-inch head pin. Repeat using an 8mm Swarovski faceted round bead in Crystal Copper. Thread a 10mm Swarovski faceted round bead in Olivine followed by a 10mm sterling silver bead cap with leaf design onto a head pin. Thread an 8mm Swarovski graphic cube bead in Crystal Golden Shadow followed by a 10mm sterling silver palm frond bead cap onto a head pin. Set these dangles aside, later you will attach them to the bracelet with wrapped loops.
Step three: Attach a 0.75x6.85mm sterling silver open jump ring to an 11mm Swarovski teardrop pendant in Topaz. Attach a sterling silver triangle open jump ring to an 18mm Swarovski aquiline pendant in Olivine. Set these dangles aside.
Step four: Cut a piece of silver-plated square links on round cable chain to fit your desired wrist size. We cut ours 6.5 inches. Attach a piece of a Hill Tribe silver medium line-etched square toggle clasp to each end of the chain using a 0.75x4.6mm sterling silver open jump ring. Lay the bracelet flat and arrange the dangles so they are evenly spaced and positioned how you like.
Step five Attach the dangles with bails to the bracelet using 0.75x6.85mm jump rings. Attach the dangles on headpins to the bracelet using wrapped loops. Attach the dangles from step three to the bracelet with their jump rings.
