Alpine Paradise Bracelet Designed by Cynthia Kimura
This bracelet will inspire you to dance in the forest with its leafy colors and shining accents. Leafy details mingle with hints of fiery sparkle and drops of crystal in pure colors like green, watermelon pink and pale yellow. This bracelet offers all the colors of the forest along with the added magic of Swarovski crystal!
Step one: String a Swarovski 6mm faceted round in Padparadscha onto a 1 1/2-inch 22 gauge sterling silver eye pin and create a simple loop to finish the link. Our Handy Tip offers more instruction on how to make a simple loop. Repeat this step 11 times. We will call these the Padparadscha links. Set aside for now.
Step two: String a TierraCast antique silver-plated pewter granulated bead onto an eye pin, followed by a Swarovski 6mm crystal globe bead in Peridot and another granulated bead. Create a simple loop to finish the link. Repeat this step 17 times. We will call these the Peridot links. Set aside for now.
Step three: Create a strand for your bracelet using this pattern:
Swarovski 6mm silver-plated channel link in Jonquil
Repeat this pattern two more times and then finish with a Padparadscha link. Repeat this step two times to create three link strands.
Step four: Cut a length of the silver-plated leaf chain approximately 7 1/2 inches long. String a Swarovski 4mm XILION bicone in Fire Opal onto a 1 1/2-inch 24 gauge sterling silver head pin. Attach it to the leaf chain by creating a wrapped loop. See our Handy Tip for more information on how to make a wrapped loop. There will be fifteen of these Fire Opal dangles attached to the chain in clusters of three, spaced out evenly on the chain. Repeat this step once more to create two leaf chain strands.
Step five: Attach one of the link strands to the end loop on one half of the silver-plated 30x10mm 5-ring magnetic tube clasp using a 4.6mm sterling silver open jump ring. Attach the other end of the strand to the other half of the clasp using another jump ring. Repeat this step to connect all the strands to the clasp, alternating between the link strands and the leaf chain strands.
