Alice's Daisy Ring Instructions Designed by Cheri Carlson
In the past we've adorned our ears, necks and wrists with glamorous jewelry while our fingers have been left by the wayside with demure bands and subtle stones. Now big, flashy cocktail rings are storming the fashion scene to shower fingers with the star treatment they deserve! This fabulous "Alice's Daisy" ring embodies this trend with a bold, layered daisy design and vibrant peacock-feather color scheme.
Step one: Wedge pieces of paper between the ring band and the table of a Nunn Design silver-plated brass large circle adjustable ring. Secure the paper to the underside of the table with tiny dabs of GemTac adhesive, this paper will provide support for your first layer of petals. Partially fill the recess on the ring with Epoxy and arrange twelve 13x7mm olive green with Picasso and luster large petal drops around the ring to form a daisy pattern. After two minutes, reposition any petals that are crooked. Allow time to dry.
Step two: Thread thirteen 15x6mm maroon with patina finish dagger drops onto a 5-inch piece of ZambaPro™ jewelry wire. Thread the wire through the drops an additional time and tighten it so that the drops form a circle of petals. Carefully trim the excess wire.
Step three: Fill the recess left by the first layer of petals with Epoxy. Place the circle of petals on the Epoxy and press into place with a 14mm Swarovski rivoli in Rose. Allow time to dry. You can adjust the petals as the Epoxy starts to firm up. Trim and peel away the paper.
