This hand-painted Russian pendant is replicating Chagall's painting The Painter To The Moon. This famous painting has been up for interpretation since 1917. This Russian pendant features just a small piece of the whole painting, but in doing so we capture the essence of Chagall's famous stylistic artistry. The backing is a large piece of black onyx and the front side of it has been painted with an excerpt of the painter's face.
