I saw this item in Artbeads' products list and it looked interesting enough to buy a length to try.
Following Artbeads usual quick service, I examined the received chain to determine how best it could be used. Obviously it should work as any other beading material. Yes, it is flexible, yes, it looks great, but, it has a minimum radius for bending of about 15mm. Bending tighter than this will damage the chain, so keep this in mind, not only for your design, but also how the end-customer might handle it. It also has a pull strength limitation. However, this is beyond that necessary to survive normal usage.
One nice application is to use 15-20mm of this chain to hang a focal drop or number of drops connected as "glued-into-blind-hole" method. This chain allows the drop to swing very nicely, certainly as good or if not better than any other beading material, and gives an attractive look to the design.
Overall, this chain is a very easy to use, pretty, and cost effective material for your designs. I liked it very much and plan to make some of my future designs around it."8 of 8 people found this review helpful.
