Beautiful in a Bracelet DesignOctober 2, 2011
I wanted something different to wear to my daughter's wedding... my husband was wearing silver and I had a navy blue dress... the platinum went perfectly with his silver and the navy blue pearls I got were fabulous with my dress. No where else was I able to find the navy pearls I wanted. I made two bracelets with opposite colors, a necklace that I added crocheted beads to and a pair of earrings with crocheted beads. What a fabulous set they made!

When I thumbed through my newest copy of Beadwork magazine, Cynthia Rutledge's pendant jumped out at me. One of the required elements are the Swarovksi crystal pearls.
As you all may notice my beaded chain is no where near the elaborate confection shown in the magazine, just a simpler version to accent the dainty sterling silver filigree Bali pendant I showcased.

These rock!June 10, 2010
if you're into the new metallic colors in beads, pearls, and crystals, you're going to LOVE these little darlings. the finish is matted, which allows you to couple them with all types of other materials while still adding some 'bling'. you can 'dress up' or 'dress down' using them. they're gorgeous!
