"A pretty yellow toned amber, if I have made the appropriate color match. I received these beads as a gift through ORBS. I haven't used the beads yet but I am thinking they have many possibilities. There are a lot of facets to catch the light but the edges are less sharp then other crystal beads I have handled. I generally don't like crystals when they lay against the skin as I find them too pointy and sharp. I don't have that reaction with these beads and so look forward to incorporate them in a pair of earrings, a necklace with a glass pendent, or as a focal for a simple seed bead bracelet. I'm intrigued by the center as well as the straight throw holes and thinking about how to utilize both."1 of 2 people found this review helpful.
