Metal Antiquing on Pewter Charms We recently received a customer comment on our silver antique pewter charms. The customer felt that we were misleading and that these charms do not, in fact, contain silver. Artbeads.com would like to reiterate that all our metal-plated pewter charms are plated with precious metals, including fine silver, rhodium, copper and 22k gold. Lead-free pewter is the base metal underneath the plating. So when you see "antique silver" in the title, rest assured that the item we are offering is plated in fine silver.
